It is the goal of the PE Dept. to help students find ways to live healthy active lifestyles when they move on from high school. We aim to provide opportunities for students to know what it takes to work as a part of a group. We focus on communication, collaboration and cooperation skills in order to help them achieve positive groups dynamics. Our curriculum offers access to many team, individual and lifetime activities in hopes that student interest is peaked in one of these areas. Each of our classes place a heavy emphasis on fitness. We feel that fitness is one of the most important aspects to take with them as it is truly personal and should be a part of students lives now and in the future.
