Support Services
Milton High School strives to ensure that every student has what they need to be successful in school. Resources are available to students, parents, and teachers to help facilitate the academic and developmental success of all students. At MHS, we work in partnership to support students through guidance services, the MTSS (Multi-Tier System of Supports) system, and case management of students with 504 and IEP plans. Consulting Teachers and Speech and Language Pathologists are assigned to teaching teams as a collaborator to meet all students’ needs within the classroom. In addition, classes are co-taught between content area teachers and Consulting Teachers or Speech and Language Pathologists. Beyond the classroom, Howard Center’s School Clinicians provide services to students to address barriers within child, home, school and community that interfere with student achievement.
We strive to promote belonging within the school and the community and foster independence so that the student will be successful inside and outside of school. We encourage students to be lifelong learners and active participants in our community.
