UPDATE
The update on today's weather and the impact on school is as follows:
Schools will remain open until their regular dismissal times.
Afternoon PK is cancelled.
After school activities are cancelled.
This decision was made in conjunction with the Weather Service, updated predictions of 1 1/2 inches of snow, and less of a chance of icing. If icing is to occur it is anticipated to be much later in the day.

The weather today is likely to be precarious. Afternoon PreK, Burlington Tech and Essex Tech are cancelled. At this point Elementary, Middle and High Schools will open on time, however there is a possibility of an early dismissal. You will be contacted by 10 AM if we need to implement an early dismissal.
IF AN EARLY DISMISSISSMAL IS CALLED --
Middle and High School would be released at noon.
Elementary would be released at 1PM.
Afternoon programming would be cancelled.
