Wash your Hands

🧼 Handwashing helps keep our school community healthy. According to guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), washing hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds is one of the simplest and most effective ways to prevent the spread of germs that cause colds, flu, and stomach illnesses.

Students and staff are encouraged to wash their hands before eating, after using the restroom, and after coughing, sneezing, or blowing their nose. When soap and water aren’t available, hand sanitizer can help, but washing with soap and water is best whenever possible.

These small, everyday habits play an important role in keeping classrooms healthy and students ready to learn.
