A little about me.
I'm a father of a teenager, and partner to an inspiring middle-level teacher, living in the South End of Burlington, Vermont. I've been teaching in the Milton Town School District since 2009, serving for three years on the iLeap team at MMS, and at MHS teaching social studies and creative media since 2012. In 2013 we opened the Milton Creative Media Lab, offering classes in filmmaking, audio engineering, and broadcasting. I created and continue to produce Yellow Jacket Television, our annual music showcase Rock Project, and co-facilitate our student social justice club, M4SJ. In 2019, I was granted a sabbatical to help open an international school in Hanoi, Vietnam. My family and I were given the opportunity to live and learn in Vietnam for a year, transforming our perspectives and broadening our understanding. I consider myself extremely lucky to teach and learn in the Milton community and look forward to continuing initiatives I've been involved in over the years including anti-racism, the arts, and educational innovation.
